The SCHICK Reading Party

The SCHICK Reading Party is a cultural immersion into print-era luxury: an intimate experience rooted in nostalgia. It brings the first 13 issues of SCHICK Magazine to life, inviting guests to step away from screens and engage with storytelling through texture, presence and atmosphere as we launch The SCHICK Collector’s Box. It’s a moment to pause, reconnect with intentional media and honour the power of stories preserved in timeless form.

The glamorous gathering once again set the tone for Fashion Week, reinforcing SCHICK’s place at the heart of Africa’s fashion and cultural scene.

2018 - Pre Fashion Week Party

SCHICK Magazine, in partnership with Beach Is Better Group, hosted its inaugural Fashion Week Party to celebrate the release of its annual Big Fashion Issue, featuring Angolan supermodel Maria Borges on the cover. Held at Shiro, the glamorous evening brought together leading names in fashion, entertainment, and media for a beach-chic celebration filled with Martell cocktails, GH Mumm champagne, a four-course dining experience, and music by DJ Dan Krane.
