Host formally welcomes guests. Quick introduction on the essence of the Reading Party, thoughtful storytelling, slowing down, experiencing words the way we experience couture.

Selected reading aloud (could be from SCHICK archival feature or book of the month). Audience invited to read a paragraph each where comfortable.

Facilitated conversations: what stood out, what moved you, what felt familiar. People share, intentionally.

A second, short excerpt could be light or humorous, or intriguing.

Highlight someone to win a prize gift for contributing meanfully, sharing a powerful reflection or embodying the spirit of the day.

Music returns. Guests mingle, write down a takeaway sentence in the “Reflection Corner”. Could include a photo moment.
The Founder’s Corner opens where guests meet the Founder to discuss burning querions about SCHICK’s new direction for print, it’s vision and invitation to community ideas.
